it is. they’re kind of a Painkiller-era Judas Priest clone. I have a couple of their albums.

I can't say I've ever heard 3 Inches of Blood referred to as a "Judas Priest Clone". That being said, I can see it. "Deadly Sinners" was my introduction to them, so that colors what genre I think of them as.

yeah, that was the first song of theirs I heard, on Sirius XM. the one guy has the Rob Halford “screechy falsetto” down pat. Musically they’re not that similar to Priest, it’s just the vocalist that made me think it.

I never would have thought of it on my own (I was thinking more a "faster king diamond"), but I think its a pretty good comparison actually. I'm listening to Painkiller now, and they are pretty close, aside from the growls.

3 inches of blood is a terrible band name. You have at least picked a more metal number. Like 666 Inches of blood. That sounds a lot fucking scarier.
